Amadeus Pro: Swiss Army Knife of Audio Editing for the Mac
Posted July 19th, 2007 by ElliottFinally! I've found the audio editor for the Mac to do all those little things like trimming, noise reduction, and more. Amadeus Pro, from Hairesoft, is just what they say, the swiss army knife of sound editing.
It loads fast, is intuitive to use, appears stable, the noise reduction works great, and has some nice features such as multitrack support, batch processing, markers, and more. Free demo, $40 to purchase.

Grahamgrafxcast
Posted June 27th, 2007 by ElliottGrahamgrafxcast is a new audio podcast I'm helping out with over at the Art Lab. My buddy Graham Smith (aka Grahamgrafx), always seems to have whimsical commentary on various things, and often a unique way of relating computer jargon to real world applications, so I suggested that he do a daily Deep Thoughts style podcast. He decided to give it a shot, so for the next two weeks we're going to try it out.
