Twitter helped Atlanta residents locate which gas stations had gas when and how long the lines were. Who knew what a useful tool twitter could become in a situation like this. I have a car myself and was on E just looking for a place to fill up and decided I would head home with what I had left until I heard some news. Luckily the AJC website had a link to a Twitter search with the phrase "#atlgas".

Low and behold you could find out which stations had fuel and how long ago someone spotted it, I immediately headed down to one of two local gas stations to find a few pumps with only unleaded gas.
